Damien Haas was born in Fulda, Germany and raised in Peachtree City, Georgia. Currently, he can be seen on Disney Channel’s “So Random”, but he got his start at the age of 8 in his elementary school’s third-grade play. Soon after, he moved on to local community and professional theater. It wasn’t long until he was part of the Atlanta Workshop Players’ professional touring group, which performed shows that focused on teen issues. At the age of 15, he landed his first movie role in a SAG filmed that starred Ben Stiller and Jason Schwartzman. Eventually, Damien found his love for improvisational comedy at Whole World Theater. He started training there at age 13, and at 18, became the youngest member to ever be in the theater’s mainstage cast.
Damien moved out to LA in 2009 to attend the University of Southern California. He immediately joined their oldest improv troupe, Commedus Interruptus, of which he is still a member. In 2010, he got a small role on the popular television show “Glee.” Not long afterwards, Damien auditioned for “So Random” and landed a role as a recurring sketch performer.
In Damien’s free time, he enjoys playing video games, working out, doing improv, and writing comedic sketches with his friends.
